Can I use the Wonder Pole anywhere in my home?
The Wonder Pole can be installed anywhere there is a flat floor and flat ceiling, including the bathroom, bedroom, living room, dining room, and kitchen. The Wonder Pole cannot be used inside of a bathtub or shower, on a loose rug, or on a paneled or vaulted ceiling. For support inside bathtubs, check out the Wonder Bathtub Pole.
How tall do my ceilings need to be to work with the Wonder Pole?
The Wonder Pole is height adjustable to fit flat ceilings between 7 and 10 feet tall. For ceilings higher than 10 feet or for slanted/vaulted ceilings, check out the Wonder Pole Premium.
How does the tension mounted design work?
The tension mounted design works by tightening a threaded nut to extend the upper section of the pole and exert upward force toward the ceiling. This creates clamping pressure that holds the pole in place between the floor and ceiling.
Do I need to secure the pole to the floor or ceiling?
The Wonder Pole installs using tension between the floor and ceiling, no drilling required. For additional security, hardware is included to hard-mount the pole to the floor and ceiling if desired, but is not required.
What is the height of the curved grab bar?
The curved grab bar sits at a fixed height from 32 in. to 52 in. from the floor and rotates around the pole every 45 degrees. The height of the curved grab bar is not adjustable.
