The Universal Stand Assist is compatible with furniture cushions that are 14 to 21 inches above the ground, 19 to 26 inches wide, and 24 to 27 inches deep. It is compatible with either fixed, stitched, or removable cushions; install the stand assist frame either around or under your cushion depending on furniture style or size. Before purchasing, please watch the compatibility video below and measure your chair cushion to determine if the Universal Stand Assist is compatible with your furniture.

No, the Universal Stand Assist cannot be installed on a bed and is not intended for freestanding use. It must be installed underneath a couch or chair to be held in place.

The Universal Stand Assist can be installed multiple ways. If you have removeable cushions, slide the frame underneath the seat cushion. If your cushion is permanently attached to the chair, slide it between the cushions as far as it will go.

The handles adjust 7 to 11 inches above the horizontal frame. The exact handle height will depend on the height of your seat cushion and whether you have installed the Stand Assist beneath or over the top of the cushion.
